Established in 1983, Rho-Can Machine and Tool is an ISO 9001:2015 registered machining supplier for the automotive, aerospace and military industry.  An initial plant with 3 employees was started in Lambeth, Ontario and in 1994 our steadily expanding company was relocated to our current facility on Industrial Road in London.  After 3 expansions in the last ten years with the most recent in 2007, the plant size is now over 40,000 square feet.

 

Within our facility we have over 60 milling machines, lathes, boring mills, surface and cylindrical grinders, jig grinders, EDM’s and CNC Machines.  Plus we have a large welding and fabricating area, 3 overhead cranes of 5 and 10 ton capacity, a quality and inspection area with a CMM and an engineering department.

With over 90 skilled machinists, tool makers, welders, fabricators, millwrights and designers, we provide complete machine shop services and can manufacture tools, dies, jigs and fixtures to meet customer requirements.  In addition we design and build special purpose machines and equipment.

 

Our dedication to quality, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction have helped Rho-Can become one of South-Western Ontario’s largest machine shops.  On May 17, 2004, Rho-Can received the prestigious LEDC’s Featured Company of London Award from Mayor Anne Marie DeCicco-Best (above center) in recognition of its economic contribution and community involvement.

 

Our customer base includes some of the regions largest companies such as Accuride Canada Inc, Cooper Standard Automotive, Diamond Aircraft, Dofasco Tubular Products, DOW Chemical, Electromotive Diesel, General Dynamics Land Systems, Gormann-Rupp, Ingersol Machine Tool (IMT), Kaiser Aluminum, Meridian Magnesium Products, RMS Equipment Company and Wescast Industries.
